I found solace in crochet during a difficult time in September 2020. The world was heavy, balancing work, the pandemic, and caring for my two children. At my lowest point, a phrase from my grandmother echoed in my mind: "Use your hands." This simple piece of advice, deeply rooted in my traditional Italian upbringing, reminded me of the strength and creativity passed down through generations. Inspired by her skill with a metal hook and yarn, I began to teach myself crochet, returning to the basics I had learned as a child.
My passion continues to grow as I take on projects that spark creativity and bring happiness to others. What began with crochet — my first act of quiet discovery — soon expanded into sewing and quilting, each offering the same tactile joy and meditative rhythm that first drew me to making.
These crafts opened endless creative possibilities and, over time, led me toward a new purpose: sharing what I’ve learned. In 2025, I earned my fashion and textiles certifications and began teaching as a creative lecturer, guiding others to experience the same sense of calm, focus, and fulfilment that making has brought to me.
Today, alongside creating bespoke pieces and limited collections, I run workshops for corporate teams and community groups — helping people reconnect through mindful, hands-on creativity. Each workshop is an invitation to slow down, rediscover curiosity, and craft with intention.
